MVG will be rearing to go after a month off on paternity and is still the red hot favourite. He will be hard to oppose here as the rest are not firing at the top of their games apart from Gurney, perhaps, but will he have enough to get over the line if he meets MVG?

Joe Cullen at 50/1 could do some damage as a big outsider but again perhaps he does not have the right mindset at the moment to win this event, however there is no questioning his ability.
I do have a 4 fold that pays just under the 5/2 that may be worth having a dabble on.
Steve West 2/5 has been playing well for a while now and his form in the Matchplay was great. Although Ryan Seal is a very good player the experience of West should get him through.

Darren Webster has been on fire all this year and his best result came in the Matchplay. He is proving to be a very hard player to beat and, if he does not miss doubles, he could have a very good run at this event.
Kyle Anderson won his first TV event in Auckland and the week before that won his first Tour event. He has upped his scoring and now does not miss too many doubles, however, this will be a tough game as Justin Pipe has come back into a bit of form.
Steve Beaton has been around forever and still plays a solid game, he might not win this against Nico Blum but no-one in the game takes him lightly.
FOUR-FOLD
Steve West, Steve Beaton, Kyle Anderson and Darren Webster.
